Like all Hyundai N models, the compact lifestyle SUV combines sporty driving dynamics with a balanced suitability for everyday use. The interplay of an SUV body with particularly dynamic driving characteristics makes the Hyundai KONA N stand out as the first SUV in the Hyundai N family. Because the Hyundai KONA N adds the versatility of an SUV to the driving fun of a ""hot hatch"", i.e. a compact hatchback model with high engine power: Drivers benefit from a powerful engine and, in urban areas, from the compact dimensions and practicality of the lifestyle SUV - there is also exemplary safety equipment. In addition to uncompromising performance, the KONA N offers its customers pleasant driving comfort, intuitive operation and comprehensive safety. The youngest member of the N family has a 280 PS / 206 kW 2.0 T-GDI engine with turbocharger and direct fuel injection. The decidedly sporty design of the ""Hot SUV"" fits in with this. Various details inspired by motorsport contribute to the dynamic driving experience, while the new eight-speed N DCT dual clutch transmission supports the special high-performance character.
The PEUGEOT 3008 - sporty, striking design with compact dimensions
The PEUGEOT 3008 harmonises sporty, striking design with compact dimensions and a spacious interior. The manoeuvrable vehicle is therefore also ideally suited for city traffic. In addition, the PEUGEOT 3008 is equipped with useful functions that ensure driving pleasure and safety: the Active Safety Brake Plus emergency braking assistant (standard from the GT equipment variant) is designed to brake automatically, especially at night and in traffic with cyclists Prevent collisions. The Lane Positioning Assistant, which comes as standard in combination with the ACC automatic cruise control from the GT equipment variant, ensures that the vehicle stays within the lane markings
A number of new technologies optimize the precision and control of the chassis in a wide variety of weather and road conditions. The standard electronic damper control (Electronic Control Suspension, ECS) in the GT-line version increases comfort and safety thanks to the continuous damping control. The system reacts to body movements and steering inputs and changes the damping behavior at lightning speed in order to counteract the vehicle's diving, pitching and rolling movements when cornering. It also adjusts the damping force in the case of obstacles in order to cope with them as comfortably as possible and to reduce the influence of post-vibrations on the wheels. A premiere for the Sportage is the “All-Terrain-Mode”, which will be available for the plug-in hybrid version with all-wheel drive. The system offers intelligent support when driving off-road or on snow by automatically optimizing the vehicle settings depending on the selected mode and thus helping the SUV to achieve maximum traction on muddy, sandy or snowy surfaces.
The Dacia Jogger, sharing the same platform as the two-star model Sandero Stepway tested by Euro NCAP last year, drops cheerlessly to one star. The car is offered in five- seat, two-row or seven-seat, three-row forms and a seatbelt reminder is not available in the rearmost seats of the latter. Inevitably, the car loses a fraction of a point compared to its partner model and uses up the tiny margin that the Sandero had to remain at two stars.
