Yesterday the “Sim Racers” drove on the virtual track of the Red Bull Ring (AUT): The winning streak for the dominant Czech Michael Smidl was broken after a collision. The best Swiss was Dominik Dedic from Zurich in second place (interview available see news link above). As during the entire 2021 season, the competition was not only held at the three Swiss locations in Kemptthal, Cham and Zurich, the Spanish capital Madrid was also involved. The racing day of the Czech Sim Racing star got off to a bad start: After a turbulent start, Alvaro Aznar first hit the pitch and then swept into the Czech's car. It was the first race the Czech couldn't win when he was on the start list. Instead, Alejandro Sanchez (ESP) won the Racer League with a lead of more than 10 seconds - this gave him 25 points in the season ranking and CHF 2,500 in prize money. Dominik Dedic (SUI) from Zurich took second place and the victory in the second-rate Challenger League went to Javier Loro (ESP)
