Quite bite! International Crocodile Day!

Since 2017, June 17 stands as the World Day of Crocodiles. The World Day is to call for the protection of the approximately 25 species. The World Day for Crocodiles goes back to an initiative of the Crocodile Research Coalition (CRC) in cooperation with the Belize Zoo from 2017. By the way, crocodiles are descendants of the archosaur. Also interesting: they renew the approximately 80 teeth of their dentition up to 50 times during their lifespan. The crocodiles reach an age of 35 up to 75 years. Some specimens weigh up to 1 ton.
