The predominantly black interior with generous space for up to five passengers is defined by the sporty ambience typical of RS. The extensive standard equipment in the ENYAQ RS iV includes carbon look trim on the instrument panel and door panels, as well as pedal covers in an aluminum design and heated sports seats with integrated headrests bearing an RS logo. Also always on board are the 3-zone Climatronic, the LED ambient lighting that also illuminates the instrument panel and door trim, or the Phone Box for inductive charging of smartphones. The factory-fitted electric tailgate including Virtual Pedal provides convenient access to the 585-liter trunk. In addition, customers can choose between two Design Selections exclusive to the ENYAQ RS iV models. In the standard Design Selection RS Lounge, the black seats are upholstered in Suedia microfiber and feature lime-colored piping and contrast stitching. Contrast stitching in the same hue can also be found on the heated multifunction sport leather steering wheel with RS badge and the Suedia-clad instrument panel. In the optionally available Design Selection RS Suite, the seat upholstery is black perforated leather with gray piping and contrasting stitching, which can also be found on the multifunction sport leather steering wheel. The instrument panel upholstery is in leather look with contrasting stitching.
The new generation of BMW iDrive takes the interaction between driver and vehicle into a digital future where many areas of life are getting increasingly smart. The new interpretation of BMW’s operating system equips the vehicle to actively engage in its relationship with those on board and, in so doing, serves as a digital, intelligent and proactive partner in any situation. A natural dialogue is created with the aim of precisely tailoring all the functions controlled via BMW iDrive to the driver’s needs and preferences as the situation demands. Underpinning the unique user experience are the new BMW Operating System 8, a new generation of displays, controls and software, and extremely powerful connectivity and data processing. The new iDrive will be rolled out gradually across all vehicle classes, making its debut later this year in the BMW iX before also featuring in the BMW i4. The ability of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant to adjust to the driver’s individual needs and routines, as well as the situation at hand, makes it – more than ever – a central operating channel of human-machine interaction. The operating system is designed with a clear focus on dialogue-based interaction using natural language and touch operation via the BMW Curved Display. And then there is “Great Entrance Moments”, which brings emotionality to the relationship between driver and vehicle even before the driver climbs on board. This new customer experience welcomes the driver and invites them into the vehicle with a thoroughly choreographed routine. During the journey, the new My Modes use an all-encompassing interplay of various functions to conjure special moments from a combination of vehicle characteristics and the interior ambience adapted to the situation at hand.
When developing the new Mirai, Toyota optimized every aspect of the vehicle so that it appeals to customers emotionally - in terms of power delivery and performance as well as the way the car drives and looks. The declared goal was to increase the range compared to the first generation to a level that exceeds most purely battery-electric cars. To achieve this, the engine output and the capacity of the hydrogen tanks increased, as did aerodynamic efficiency. The result: a 30 percent larger radius of action that now reaches a good 650 kilometers. This means that the Mirai is now finally moving up into the long-haul vehicle class. Toyota has devoted itself equally intensively to the room layout. The modular GA-L platform, which serves as the basis for the new Mirai, enables considerably more effective packaging. In favor of a more balanced arrangement of the new FCEV drive train, the fuel cell unit has now moved under the hood. In this way, it clears the way for a larger interior space that can now accommodate five passengers.
