Kia Sportage now also as a full hybrid

Visually, the new Sportage, which is being offered in the fifth generation for the first time in a version specially designed for Europe, is characterized by the new Kia design philosophy "Opposites United" (united opposites). The characteristic elements of the front design include the detailed black radiator grille graphics, which stretches over the entire width of the "face", the standard LED daytime running lights in boomerang shape and the adaptive dual LED headlights (standard from Spirit). The profile pays homage to the sportiness that has always characterized the model, and the powerfully sloping hatchback flows into the distinctive, sharply drawn taillights. For the first time, the SUV is available in two-tone paintwork with a black roof, which is available for the decidedly sporty top version GT-line. There are a total of 22 color variants to choose from (depending on the version). A striking element in the modern, stylish interior is the shapely curved panorama display with the two 31.2 cm (12.3 inch) screens of the navigation system and the fully digital instrument cluster (standard from Spirit). The navigation touchscreen is also the central user interface for the driver and front passenger, which can be operated particularly easily and intuitively thanks to the switchable multi-mode control bar below the screen. The Kia Connect online services offer real-time information and app-controlled remote control functions. In the future, the Sportage will also be able to receive map and other software updates wirelessly “Over the Air” (OTA). The space available has grown significantly with the new generation, despite the external dimensions hardly having changed (length 4,515 mm, width 1,865 mm, height 1,650 mm). This is especially true in the rear and for the luggage compartment, which holds 587 liters in the hybrid (up to 1,776 liters with the rear seat back folded down)
