The redesigned front section focuses on the characteristic BMW design features of the twin headlights and the BMW kidney grille, the reinterpretation of which emphasizes the upright stature of the vehicle and reinforces its presence on the road. Two-part headlight units are used for the first time in the new BMW X7. Outsourced horizontal LED light elements in the upper area of ​​the front are responsible for the position and daytime running lights as well as the direction indicators. The LED units for the low beam and high beam arranged underneath, with their dark housing and the position deeply embedded in the front apron, recede into the background and only appear when they are activated. The new adaptive matrix LED headlights with glare-free high beam and adaptive light distribution now also take over the function of the fog lights with their automatic poor-weather light. Discreet waterfall lighting for the two elements of the BMW kidney grille ensures a particularly extravagant expression in the front view of the new BMW X7, both when stationary and while driving.
