Volkswagen is accelerating its transformation into a software-oriented mobility provider with its ACCELERATE strategy: The new ID.5 and the new ID.5 GTX1 mark the sixth all-electric model in the ID. family. Volkswagen's ID.5 is the SUV coupe of a completely new vehicle generation with premium aspirations. It will launch as the rear-wheel drive ID.5 with 128 kW (174 hp) or 150 kW (204 hp) and as the all-wheel drive ID.5 GTX with 200 kW (299 hp). As a strong character, each model in this series bundles the qualities of the ID. Family in a design that is as elegant as it is expressively independent. The ID.5 offers a completely new, spacious feel as well as groundbreaking solutions for operation, human-machine interface (HMI) infotainment and assistance systems.
