The new Sportage was designed in collaboration between Kia's design centers in Korea, Germany, the USA and China. The model's appearance and character are influenced by the new Kia design philosophy "Opposites United" (United Opposites), which was unveiled in the spring. It is based on five pillars, of which "Bold for Nature" in particular has had a fundamental influence on the design of the Sportage. This nature-oriented concept aims for a bold, emotional, modern, but at the same time organic design. Sharply drawn lines structure the body and contribute significantly to its exciting elegance. At the same time, the interplay of clear, powerful surfaces and complex graphics gives the SUV a dynamic, self-confident presence. In its fifth model generation, the brand's best-selling SUV is available for the first time in a version designed specifically for Europe. While the global version of the new Sportage has grown significantly in length, the European model is based on its predecessor in terms of format. With its proportions and more compact, sweeping profile than the global version, it hints at the special agility and performance that are important to European customers. A striking element of the front-end design is the detailed black radiator grille graphic that runs across the entire width of the "face" and is characterized by precise, complex shapes. It combines the modern version of the "tiger's nose," the grille shape typical of Kia, with the characteristic standard boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights and the eye-catching adaptive dual-LED headlights (equipment-dependent).
