The international automaker is ushering in a new era with the brand's first stand-alone electric vehicle. Built on the modular e-TNGA platform developed specifically for battery electric vehicles, the new Toyota bZ4X combines a striking, futuristic SUV design with plenty of space and advanced connectivity and safety technologies. At its heart is the all-electric powertrain. The entry-level version, available at prices starting at 47,490 euros (excluding the environmental bonus), can be driven using only one pedal thanks to the so-called "Single Pedal Drive." As soon as the driver takes his foot off the gas pedal, the vehicle decelerates thanks to enhanced brake energy regeneration - and even to a standstill.
