The visual bracket around the forward-looking technologies is formed by the unique design of the ID. Buzz. "The T1 - an icon of the 1950s - gave people mobility and freedom. With the ID. Buzz, we are transferring this T1 DNA into the present day and thus into the era of electric mobility," outlines Jozef Kabaň, Head of Volkswagen Design. "The ID. Buzz brings a lot of sympathy and closeness to people back onto the road," the chief designer continues. And it is the proportions that make the ID. Buzz so unique. Kabaň builds a bridge to the classic: "With the T1, I'm virtually sitting on the front axle - no front overhang. For all its safety relevance and technology, the ID. Buzz has super short overhangs." The designer sums up, "The ID. Buzz is timeless, sustainable and yet extremely functional - that's what makes it unique." Also typical of the series since time immemorial is the iconic front end with its v-shaped hood between the charismatic LED headlights. This also applies to the optional two-tone paint finish.

All-new Dacia Sandero Design

With its pronounced shoulders and wheel arches, New Sandero exudes a strong personality and an impression of robustness. Its overall proportions have been redesigned to perpetuate the equation of its success: a contained exterior size and even greater roominess, for even greater versatility. The overall line is more fluid thanks to a more sloping windshield, a lower roofline and a radio antenna placed at the rear. The ground clearance is unchanged, but with its wider tracks and flush wheels, New Sandero feels lower, more planted on its sills. All-new Sandero Stepway is immediately recognizable at the front with its unique ribbed and more domed bonnet. It adopts the design codes of the crossover world with raised ground clearance, logoted roof bars, large wheel arch wideners and reinforced door bottoms with specific texture. In addition to, the chrome Stepway logo under the front grille and the curved fenders above the fog lights. The front and rear bumpers include a body-coloured metal skid plate designed to protect the original colour from everyday scratches. The Dacia spirit also includes useful and necessary innovations, such as the All-new Sandero Stepway modular roof bars, designed from the outset to be transformed into a roof rack. A new definition of luxury meets the future of production at Mercedes-Benz: production of the EQS electric saloon started at Factory 56 in the Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen plant - flexible, digital, efficient and sustainable. The EQS is integrated into ongoing series production at the site as the first all-electric model. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class saloon, the long-wheelbase version and the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class are already rolling off the production line at Factory 56. EQS production in Factory 56 exemplifies sustainable and CO2-neutral vehicle manufacturing at Mercedes-Benz. Numerous measures that enhance environmental protection and resource conservation characterise the factory: as just one example, photovoltaic systems on the roof of the hall cover yearly around 30 per cent of the electricity demand. Due to maximum flexibility, the assembly of different models and drive types on one line is possible. The processes and equipment in the production hall of Factory 56 can therefore be precisely adapted to the requirements of the EQS electric model.
