Today, the first fourth-generation FABIA rolled off the assembly line at the ŠKODA AUTO main plant in Mladá Boleslav. For the production of the fourth model generation of the popular small car, the production lines have been extensively adapted, the necessary investments amount to a total of 110 million euros. For the first time, the FABIA is based on the MQB-A0 modular transverse matrix from the Volkswagen Group and offers not only the best space in its class, but also even better comfort and numerous new safety and assistance systems. The new FABIA has everything it needs to build on the success of its predecessors: Since its debut in 1999, ŠKODA has delivered more than 4.5 million units of the small car to customers, making it the brand's second most successful model after the OCTAVIA. The ŠKODA FABIA is produced on the same production line as the SCALA and KAMIQ model series. In the run-up to the start of production, the Czech automobile manufacturer made adjustments to the assembly line as well as in the press shop and in the welding shop. Numerous complex and physically strenuous production steps are taken over by robots and in this way enable a high degree of automation of the production processes

Just a few months after the launch of the EQS, Mercedes-EQ is already presenting the next model based on the electric architecture developed specifically for electric vehicles, the new EQE. The sporty business saloon offers all the essential functions of the EQS in a slightly more compact format. At market launch, the model range initially comprises two variants: the EQE 350 with 215 kW, as well as another model. Performance variants with around 500 kW are being planned. Production of the EQE takes place at two locations of the Mercedes-Benz Cars global production network: at the German Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen for the global market and at the German-Chinese joint venture BBAC in Beijing for the local market. Compared to the luxury liner EQS, the EQE is even more streamlined, with a slightly shorter wheelbase, shorter overhangs and more recessed flanks - it carries the concept of the business saloon into the future. Sensual Purity is reflected in generously modelled surfaces, reduced joints and seamless transitions (seamless design). The overhangs and the front end are kept short, the rear provides the dynamic accent with a sharp rear spoiler. Flush with the outer edge of the body, the 19- to 21-inch wheels, together with a pronounced muscular shoulder section, give the EQE an athletic character. In the outer dimensions, the EQE is comparable to the CLS. Like the latter, it has a fixed rear window and a boot lid. The interior dimensions even clearly exceed those of today's E-Class (213 model series), e.g. the shoulder room in the front (plus 27 mm) or the interior length (plus 80 mm).

As part of its European market LCV strategy, Nissan today unveiled the all-new Nissan Townstar range of compact light commercial vehicles. The Townstar will replace the NV250 and e-NV200 in the line-up. Additionally, the Interstar and Primastar (previously NV400 and NV300, respectively), fill out the streamlined LCV model offerings. Building on the success of the Nissan e-NV200, a pioneer and leader in the electric LCV market, the fully electric version of the all-new Townstar, available in van and passenger versions, is optimized to meet customer needs. With a 44 kWh battery featuring an intelligent energy management system and battery thermal cooling, the electric model will offer a range of 285 km (pending homologation under WLTP combine cycle) and 245 Nm of torque. Coupled with advanced technologies and low running costs, the fully electric model offers an efficient, sustainable mobility solution. A refined gasoline engine option will be also available in van and passenger versions. The 1.3-liter unit is fully compliant with the latest Euro 6d-Full emissions regulations and produces 130 PS and 240 Nm of torque, offering power and efficiency in equal measure. As an important vehicle in Nissan’s LCV line-up in the European market, the Townstar is the latest to be introduced under the Nissan NEXT transformation plan, which prioritizes sustainable growth and profitability across the company’s global operations. Launch timing of the all-new Townstar (both gasoline and EV versions) to be disclosed at a later date.
