With the new Polo, one of the world's first partially automated compact models is now on the market. The Volkswagen automatically steers, brakes and accelerates on request. This is made possible by the optional "IQ.DRIVE Travel Assist". Volkswagen is bundling the systems on the way to automated driving under the umbrella brand "IQ.DRIVE". So far, these technologies have only been available in larger models such as the Golf, Tiguan, Passat, Arteon and Touareg. As a first in its class, the Polo is now partially automated across the entire speed range. The "IQ.DRIVE Travel Assist" offers a significant plus in comfort, particularly on stretches of the motorway
