The new Seat Ibiza - safety and comfort

The new SEAT Ibiza integrates a range of new driver assistance systems that make it safer than ever before. Existing systems such as ACC automatic distance control, Front Assist environment monitoring system and drowsiness detection are complemented by other state-of-the-art assistance systems. Travel Assist provides support across the entire speed spectrum and ensures that the vehicle adapts its speed to the flow of traffic. These are joined by Lane Keeping Assist, which helps the driver keep his vehicle in its lane, and Traffic Sign Recognition, which tells the vehicle the speed limit for all roads. The new SEAT Ibiza now also features an upgrade to Side Assist, which assists with lane changes: Forward- and rear-facing radar sensors monitor blind spots up to 70 meters (230 feet) and let drivers know when a vehicle is nearby if they want to change lanes.
