The new Opel Grandland - Grandland innovations - Pure Panel, Night Vision, IntelliLux LED® Pixel light

Powerful powertrains that deliver superior performance on the road and state-of-the-art technologies that can be conveniently and intuitively controlled via the Pure Panel - these are the hallmarks of the new Opel Grandland. The fully digital, driver-oriented cockpit with two widescreens keeps the latest digital technologies and most important information at hand. Another Grandland innovation is the optional adaptive IntelliLux LED® Pixel light. A total of 168 LED elements integrated into the new Opel Vizor brand face on both sides ensure precise as well as flowing light at all times in line with the situation, without dazzling other road users. Safety in the dark is also enhanced by Night Vision. The camera-based system, which makes its Opel debut in the new Grandland, also improves driver foresight in the dark. The infrared camera, which sits at the front, detects people and animals up to 100 meters ahead of the Grandland in the direction of travel based on their temperature difference from their surroundings. Available in conjunction with automatic transmission, the front collision warning system now bundles the functions of various assistance aids, including automatic hazard braking, pedestrian, traffic sign and drowsiness detection, with the integrated automatic speed assistant including "stop & go function." Other systems such as the front and rear view camera, the automatic parking assistant and the blind spot warning system round off the broad portfolio.
