Honda shows next generation of the Civic five-door

The Civic remains a key model for Honda in Europe. The eleventh generation builds on almost 50 years of heritage and continues the tradition of the series in terms of functionality, comfort and visual appeal. Available as standard in Europe with the e: HEV hybrid drive, the new Civic underscores Honda's goal of equipping all volume models on the European market with electrified drives by 2022. The e: HEV drive system is already being used in the Jazz and Jazz Crosstar models, in the CR-V and in the new HR-V, which will be introduced later this year. The hybrid drive also gives the new Civic a perfect mix of driving fun and efficiency. Since its market launch in 1972, the Civic has enjoyed great popularity around the world. To date, more than 27 million units have been sold in 170 countries. The new Civic e: HEV is set to continue this success story and will be available in Europe from autumn 2022
