The 296 GTB, the latest evolution of Maranello's mid-engine two-seater Berlinetta, was unveiled today during an online event broadcast across Ferrari's social media and web channels. The 296 GTB redefines the concept of driving pleasure and guarantees pure emotion not only when pushing the limits of the car, but also in everyday driving situations. The 296 GTB heralds a true revolution for Ferrari, introducing a new type of engine to flank the brand's multiple award-winning 8- and 12-cylinder units: a new 663 hp 120° V6 coupled with an electric motor that delivers an additional 122 kW (167 hp). This is the first 6-cylinder engine in a Cavallino Rampante road sports car: it puts a massive total output of 830 hp on the road, delivering previously unthinkable levels of performance and an innovative, intoxicating and unique soundtrack. The car's name, in the best Ferrari tradition a combination of total displacement (2,992 cm3) and number of cylinders, as well as the abbreviation GTB (Gran Turismo Berlinetta), was chosen to underline the epoch-making importance of this new engine for Maranello: Not only is it the living, beating heart of the 296 GTB, but it also heralds a new V6 era that has its roots in the company's unparalleled 70-plus years of motorsport experience.

With the BMW i Vision Circular, the BMW Group is demonstrating the consistent design of a car according to the principles of a circular economy. The overall design goal of this visionary vehicle was to create a vehicle that is optimized for closed material cycles and achieves a rate of 100% recycled materials or 100% recyclability. In addition to bio-based and certified raw materials, materials that have already passed through a product life cycle – so-called secondary materials – are used for this purpose. This also applies to the energy storage system: The solid-state battery of the BMW i Vision Circular is 100% recyclable and almost completely made from recycled materials. At the same time, it will achieve a considerably higher energy density with significantly fewer of the most valuable resources. “We have included circularity in our concept right from the start when designing the BMW i Vision Circular. That's why this visionary vehicle is full of innovative ideas that combine sustainability with new and inspiring aesthetics – we call this approach Circular Design,” explains Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design. The all-new Audi A3 submits a bolder, wider stance supported by sharper side sculpting, and prominent quattro blisters with strong concave surfacing – presenting the model with an overall athletic appearance. At the front, a bolder, wider Singleframe grille with honeycomb design is supported by aggressive hood sculpting, flanked by striking headlight design, for an overall RS-inspired look. The Audi S3 is now 0.8 inches wider and 1.5 inches longer than its predecessor, giving the S3 a more substantial appearance as a result from a wider and more aggressive A3 body. The S3 signals a nod to Audi Sport with a heightened RS-inspired look with standard rhombus pattern Singleframe grille design. Around the rear, authentic quad exhaust tips are larger than the previous generation, and provide a symphonic exhaust note. In addition, the available Black optic package on the S3 further includes black exhaust tips and a black roof. Standard LED headlights provide clarity for the road ahead, while both models offer an available, next generation Matrix-design LED headlights with unique daytime running light signatures. In the rear, standard LED taillights have an available animation when locking – or unlocking any of the four doors.
