The wait is over: On 29 and 30 May, Extreme E will enter the next round in Senegal. After the difficult season opener for Team ABT CUPRA XE in Saudi Arabia, Claudia Hürtgen and Mattias Ekström will attack again at the wheel of the all-electric e-CUPRA ABT XE1 at the Ocean X Prix. The disappointing premiere in Saudi Arabia has been dealt with and the ABT CUPRA XE team is looking ahead. At the second of a total of five rounds of the Extreme E season, a host of challenges await Claudia Hürtgen, Mattias Ekström and the entire crew once again in Senegal. The venue on the Atlantic coast is once again breathtaking: The terrain at Lac Rose, a lake about 35 kilometers east of the Senegalese capital Dakar, was the finish of the famous Dakar Rally until 2007.
