Spectacular world premiere of the new Volkswagen ID.4 GTX

The new ID.4 GTX impressively demonstrated its dynamism and sportiness at its world premiere in a hangar at the former Berlin-Tempelhof airport. The central component of the staging was a ramp measuring 525 square meters. With its dual-motor all-wheel drive, the ID.4 GTX mastered the 37.5 percent incline with ease. The ramp served as the stage for a mixed reality (XR) installation. In a fantastic real-time show, the first GTX of the ID. Family was staged. Through the use of a game engine and a tracking system covering the entire room, the physical ramp became a window into a virtual world. In the mixed reality performance, the boundaries between reality and virtual space thus dissolve. High-performance real-time graphics and storytelling combined here with sculptural architecture to create a pioneering production. From the camera's perspective, the ramp became an infinite space.
