New Mercedes-Benz EQB - Cooperative support for the driver and high crash safety

The EQB features intelligent driving assistance systems with cooperative support for the driver. On board as standard are Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Brake Assist. In many critical situations, the latter has the ability to prevent a collision or reduce its severity with autonomous braking. The system can also brake for stationary vehicles and crossing pedestrians at typical urban speeds. Advanced functions of the Driving Assistance package include the turn-off function, the emergency lane function, the exit warning function for approaching cyclists or vehicles, and the warning for detected persons in the area of crosswalks.
