This successful basis is now being further developed in the 2021 model year of the Range Rover Velar - among other things with electrified engines. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the new Velar P400e: The plug-in hybrid combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 221 kW (300 hp) of power and a 105 kW (143 hp) electric motor into a coherent and efficient overall package that provides 297 kW (404 hp) of system power. This allows the Velar P400e to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.4 seconds, while it can cover up to 61 kilometers (61 miles) purely electrically and thus without tailpipe emissions.
