Regardless of equipment line and accessories, propulsion is provided by the brand's typical hybrid drive: The combination of a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor on the front and rear axles develops a system output of 179 kW/248 hp and ensures high efficiency. With an unladen weight of at least 2,015 kilograms, standard consumption is just 5.1 to 5.5 liters per 100 kilometers, corresponding to CO2 emissions of 116 to 124 g/km. The interaction of the three engines also enables intelligent all-wheel drive. AWD-i not only improves traction on any surface, but also increases the towing capacity to two tons. In conjunction with the in-house GA-K vehicle platform, which increases rigidity and lowers the center of gravity, driving pleasure is also guaranteed.

The Nissan Qashqai is breaking new ground: e-Power will make its debut in the compact crossover SUV in late summer 2022. The unique electrified drive system is coming to Europe for the first time. As part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, it points the way to electromobility and makes journeys just as pleasant as they are efficient. The drive system, specially tailored to European drivers, combines two Nissan strengths: advanced battery and motor technology as well as innovative combustion engines with variable compression ratios. This combination optimizes fuel efficiency without sacrificing driving pleasure. This is Nissan's response to the typical driving behavior of crossover owners: more than 70 percent drive predominantly in urban and suburban environments - and compromise on driving pleasure in favor of environmental protection. e-Power puts an end to that.
