DIE WAND- UND BODENSTANDUHREN DER HABSBURGERMONARCHIE 1780-1850
"DIE WAND- UND BODENSTANDUHREN DER HABSBURGERMONARCHIE 1780-1850", edited by Stephan Andréewitch, Alexander Graef and Paul Archard, will soon be going to print after around 16 years of work! The two-volume publication provides over 1,300 pages of detailed information on the development of wall and floor clocks in the Habsburg monarchy in the 18th and 19th centuries and their manufacturers. On almost 800 pages, Volume 1 contains an extensive catalog with over 400 pendulum clocks, most of which are unpublished. In addition, Volume 2 is a comprehensive directory of clockmakers active in the Habsburg Empire between 1600 and 1900 with over 14,000 entries, including a large number of previously unknown masters and companies. An indispensable compendium on the classic wall and floor clocks of the Danube Monarchy and an important reference work for all clock enthusiasts!
