With Navigation with Electric Intelligence, the name says it all. This is because it plans the fastest and most comfortable route, including charging stops, based on numerous factors. It also reacts dynamically to traffic jams or a change in driving style, for example. Navigation with Electric Intelligence is clever: it calculates the expected charging costs for a charging stop. The customer also has the option of editing the planned route individually. He can add preferred charging stations along the route or exclude suggested charging stations. While a classic range calculator lives on the past, navigation with Electric Intelligence looks to the future. Energy requirements are calculated to calculate the route. Topography, route, ambient temperature, speed, heating and cooling requirements are all taken into account. Other factors include the traffic situation on the planned route as well as the charging stations available there, their charging capacity and payment functions. The calculation takes place in the cloud and is combined with onboard data.
