The new Mercedes EQE - the electric drive

The market launch will be contested by the EQE 350+ with 215 kW and the Mercedes-AMG EQE 43 4MATIC. With 350 kW, the latter is the entry into the electric Driving Performance from Mercedes-AMG. The EQE 500 4MATIC and Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4MATIC+ will follow. The battery of the EQE 350+ has ten modules with a usable energy content of approximately 90 kWh, and the range of up to 654 km according to WLTP is absolutely suitable for long distances. All EQE vehicles have an electric drive train (eATS) on the rear axle. The versions with 4MATIC also have an eATS on the front axle. In the 4MATIC models, the Torque Shift function ensures intelligent, stepless distribution of drive torque between the rear and front eATS and thus the use of the most efficient eATS in each case. The modular drive concept ensures high overall performance and a long range.
