The new Lexus UX 300e highlights

The all-electric Lexus UX 300e embodies the vision of "Lexus Electrified": Even with the new drive train, the model remains a true Lexus - without compromise. The brand's first electric vehicle combines exceptional craftsmanship with quality, comfort and peace of mind, as evidenced not only by the hand-moulded "drive-by-wire" selector lever. To ensure the quietest possible ride, Lexus has analysed and responded to the noise generated by electric vehicles: special tires and wheel arch linings reduce the noise generated by stones, grit and water lying on the road. Driving pleasure was also right at the top of the specifications from chief engineer Takashi Watanabe. The low center of gravity is a major factor in the dynamic and cultivated driving experience: In addition to the GA-C platform and its advantages, the Lexus UX 300e benefits from the high-voltage battery located under the vehicle body and the electric motor located deep in the engine compartment. Suspension and steering as well as parts of the Lexus Driving Dynamics Control System, first introduced in the LF-30 Electrified Concept, further maximize driving pleasure.
