World boxing champion Moises Fuentes dies at 37

Former world boxing champion Moises Fuentes of Mexico has succumbed to his severe brain injuries after more than a year in hospital at the age of 37. This is reported by Mauricio Sulaiman, president of the world federation WBC, on his social networks. Fuentes had collapsed in October 2021 in Cancun in the fight against his compatriot David Cuellar Contreras, suffering a blood clot in the brain.
