Demonstrators have attacked the city hall of the Serbian capital Belgrade and clashed with the police. The background was protests against the country's elections, which were overshadowed by allegations of fraud. Demonstrators used flagpoles, rocks and eggs to break the windows of the capital's administrative building and tried to storm it, but were quickly repelled by police.
