A brunch with friends or a festive meal with the family – Easter usually goes well for the gastronomy sector. Not so this year. That is at least the result of a new survey by the German Hotel and Restaurant Association in Bavaria. Only 9 percent of the surveyed companies are very satisfied with their Easter revenues. Nearly 30% report poor to very poor business. A key finding of the study: Revenues are missing and costs are rising, not only at Easter. The mood is also subdued in the region.
