The rustic version of fries is the baked potato. To make them perfect, you need a trick. We reveal how this works in this video. Baked potatoes are the perfect side dish. Often, the potatoes in the oven turn out limp and not crispy. We'll tell you a trick to ensure your baked potatoes turn out perfectly. The secret to good baked potatoes is baking powder. This reduces the starch content of the potatoes, making them crispier when baked. The preparation is quite simple. After washing and cutting the potatoes into quarters or eighths, boil them in a pot of salted water with a teaspoon of baking powder until they are soft. Then let them drain briefly. Now get creative: When seasoning, you can choose your favorite flavors: salt and olive oil are the base in which the potatoes are tossed. You can also add paprika powder, rosemary, or garlic powder, for example. Now just place them on a baking sheet in the preheated oven at 180 degrees. 30 to 40 minutes later, you can enjoy them.
