The new Škoda Kodiaq - Drive - for the first time a Kodiaq with plug-in hybrid

The new Škoda Kodiaq is also available in a variant with plug-in hybrid drive. With a system output of 150 kW/204 hp, the Kodiaq iV enables a purely electric range of more than 100 kilometers according to WLTP. Mild hybrid technology is also making its way into the engine range of the new Kodiaq, namely in the 110 kW/150 hp 1.5 TSI turbo gasoline engine. The powertrain range is rounded off by another turbocharged gasoline engine with a displacement of 2.0 liters and two turbodiesels, also two liters in size, with 110 kW/150 hp and 142 kW/193 hp respectively. All engines are combined with a DSG dual-clutch transmission. The respective top gasoline and diesel engines come with all-wheel drive as standard. Škoda also offers the DCC Plus adaptive chassis control system with driving profile selection for the new Kodiaq. The system has two separate valves that control the compression and rebound of the suspension, enabling faster and more variable damping. This improvement results in accelerated response, optimized handling characteristics and outstanding ride comfort with unchanged ground clearance compared with models with conventional suspension.
