The Toyota bZ4X - The powertrains

Source: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

In the entry-level version, the Toyota bZ4X comes with a 150 kW/204 hp electric motor that sends 265 Nm of torque to the front wheels. Alternatively, customers can opt for the X-Mode all-wheel drive system designed jointly with Subaru, which develops 160 kW/218 hp and 336 Nm of torque and ensures perfect traction even on difficult terrain. Thanks to the so-called "Single Pedal Drive", the Toyota bZ4X can be driven with just one pedal, regardless of the drive system: As soon as the driver takes his foot off the gas pedal, the vehicle decelerates - if necessary to a standstill - thanks to enhanced brake energy recovery.
