The Audi activesphere concept proves to be a border crosser, and that also means: a quick-change artist. Its rear section in particular takes into account the active lifestyle of its customers and makes it possible to carry even large sports equipment - without sacrificing the elegance and sportiness of the Sportback silhouette. If required, the transparent rear window slides almost flush over the roof of the Audi activesphere. At the same time, the lower, vertical segment of the rear folds into a horizontal position. This opens up a respectable load area in which holders for e-bike wheels, for example, are already recessed - the active back. The lateral surfaces of the rear - the C-pillars - remain unchanged in position and retain the dynamic silhouette of the activesphere. A partition behind the rear seats protects the cabin from wind and weather. For transporting skis, a holder is integrated centrally in the roof structure - flush and practically invisibly recessed in the roof arch. If required, this bracket extends and can be used to secure and safely transport the sports equipment.
