The new Nissan X-Trail - Modern, muscular styling

Source: AUTOMOTOTV (Glomex)

The X-Trail's distinctive design, which has continued to turn heads over the past three generations, conveys a reassuringly rugged feel without appearing aggressive. Both the exterior and interior reflect the vehicle's versatile and adventurous character. Typical Nissan design elements such as the seemingly floating roof and the V-Motion radiator grille are not to be missed. The front is dominated by striking headlights with integrated daytime running lights that extend into the front bumper. In the side view, muscular wheel arches underscore the car's presence on the road, while the lower door area leaves a flowing impression. The shape of the C-pillar is reminiscent of a dolphin's fin and brings excitement to the rear. A horizontal line is found above and below the license plate. The split taillights extending into the side of the vehicle emphasize the vehicle's width and at the same time facilitate access to the trunk. Contributing to the excellent aerodynamics are, among other things, three-dimensional tire deflectors in the lower front apron, specially designed A-pillars, large underbody covers and an active radiator grille that directs the airflow into the engine compartment. The unique "Air Curtain" also precisely directs the airflow from the front to the sides of the vehicle. Ten paint finishes and five two-tone combinations are available for the new X-Trail, giving maximum scope for personalization.
