The wait is over - CUPRA Born can now be ordered

The tension is rising: With the CUPRA Born, the first fully electric CUPRA model can now be ordered. The 150 kW (204 PS) version with a battery capacity of 58 kWh is the beginning of a total of four model variants with different performance levels and battery capacities. It is available from 37,220 euros. After deducting current subsidies for electric vehicles, entry into the electrifying world of the CUPRA Born starts at 27,650 euros. The first vehicles will go on sale as early as November. The lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 58 kWh stores enough energy for around 420 kilometers - making the CUPRA Born suitable for long distances. With 100 kW charging power, it can be charged from 5 to 80 percent of its capacity in just 35 minutes. Thanks to its powerful motor, which puts 310 Nm on the driven rear axle when it starts rolling, it only takes 7.3 seconds to accelerate the CUPRA Born with 150 kW (204 PS) from standstill to 100 km / h. The top speed is electronically limited to 160 km / h. Its low consumption of 15.4 kWh per 100 km (according to WLTP) is remarkable in view of this sporty driving performance. CUPRA gives an eight-year guarantee on the drive battery up to 160,000 kilometers (guaranteed minimum capacity of 70 percent)
