Bees are important parts of our ecosystem. They pollinate flowers and produce honey. Bees in Bavaria produced around 34 kilograms of honey per beehive in 2024. Honey is a product that has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects among other things on us humans. However, the millennia-old craft faces major challenges - as experienced by an Allgäu beekeeping operation.
