The new Audi RS 6 Avant GT - Craftsmanship at the highest level

A special feature of the new RS 6 Avant GT: It is not assembled completely on the production line in Neckarsulm like the regular RS 6 Avant. After body construction and painting, the 660 models head to the Böllinger Höfe. Here, the small series production of the Audi R8, Audi e-tron GT quattro, and Audi RS e-tron GT is already taking place. Close to the Audi headquarters in Neckarsulm, this production facility is highly flexible, unique within the group, and thus offers the best conditions for the completion of the Audi RS 6 Avant GT. At three assembly stations set up specifically for this exclusive special model, seven experienced employees complete the final assembly within one day. For each of the 660 RS 6 Avant GTs worldwide, the employees manually install all GT-specific components. This includes the hood, fenders, sills, double wing, front and rear bumpers, as well as the coilover suspension. Production at the Böllinger Höfe is already CO₂-neutral on a balance sheet basis. Audi uses green electricity and heat from renewable sources - an important milestone for the brand and the Neckarsulm site. CO2 emissions that cannot yet be avoided through renewable energy sources are offset by Audi through so-called carbon credits from certified climate protection projects. In doing so, the company makes an important contribution to Mission:Zero - the premium manufacturer's environmental program for consistently sustainable production.
