Heroic crane operator rescues worker from top of burning building

This is the hair-raising moment a worker stuck at the top of a burning under-construction residential tower in Antioquia, Colombia on November 13 was rescued by a co-worker carefully operating a massive crane. The worker successfully rescued two other people. Reports say the fire began on a garbage chute on the 11th floor being used to store waste from the construction. The incident is under investigation.

In an incredible discovery right out of a movie, salvager group Queens Jewels, LLC recently announced they found over 1,000 gold and silver coins dating back 300 years off of Florida's Treasure Coast. The treasure, worth about $1 million, came from the wreck of the Spanish Empire's 'Treasure Fleet', which was destroyed in July 1715 by a hurricane as it attempted to carry $400 million worth of treasures taken from the Americas back to Spain.
