On Tuesday, New Zealand's outgoing Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern made her last public appearance. The 42-year-old joined her successor Chris Hipkins in celebrations of indigenous Māori. On Thursday, Ardern had unexpectedly announced her resignation, saying she "lacked the strength."
