Warning strike: Employees of Hamburg port operations lay down work

On Thursday, employees of the port operations in Hamburg laid down their work. The large-scale warning strike in all German seaports was organized by the trade union Verdi. It is demanding more pay in the wage dispute with employers. The port is affected by this in an already very tense situation: supply chains are out of sync worldwide, and containers are jammed in Hamburg. Verdi had called for a rally at 3 pm.
