EU Commission pushes down its economic forecast

The European economy has been hit hard by the war in Ukraine. The EU Commission has to drastically adjust its spring forecast for growth. According to this, the economy of the EU and the euro countries would only grow by around 2.7 percent in 2022, instead of the previously expected four percent.
