Bat carer nurtures sick or weakened animals in her apartment

Ines Kock has been caring for sick or injured bats for ten years. It all started when she accidentally disturbed a bat in hibernation. After consulting with the German Nature Conservation Association, the 51-year-old decided to nurse the weakened animal back to health herself. Since then, she has been taking in weakened animals from the Wildlife and Species Conservation Center Klein Offenseth-Sparrieshoop (Schleswig-Holstein) - whenever she has capacity in her apartment in Elmshorn.
