Innovative and full of good ideas: The international trade fair REHACARE 2019, which ended after four days at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center. 751 exhibitors from 43 countries informed 38,600 visitors about aids that make life easier for people with disabilities, in need of special care and senior citizens. And again it became clear: life is becoming more and more digital - supporting mobility.

The path to inclusion does not have to be difficult, thanks to state-of-the-art technology, such as stair-climbing wheelchairs or text messaging through transmission by thought, access to be a part of society for people with disabilities is becoming easier.
By tradition, every January the boot Dusseldorf opens its doors to water sports enthusiasts. From fishhooks to 30-meter yachts – anything that can float on or under water is presented and offered for sale. The industry will have generated an estimated 2.16 billion euros in sales in 2019 – 3% more than in the previous year. However, the mood in the water sports industry is not as positive as it was one year ago – manufacturers and retailers are expecting growth to cease – if not even decline in the near future. The boot in Dusseldorf wants to prevent this by offering top-products.
The medical technology and medical device trade fair Medica is considered to be the trade platform for everything related to health technology, laboratory equipment and physiotherapy. Trade visitors came from over 170 countries with the intention to invest - the healthcare market is currently growing, especially in the emerging markets. Big markets, small products - because a large part of the novelties is driven by miniaturization, in addition to artificial intelligence and digitization in general.
