Dresden: Low water halts freight shipping

The Elbe currently has very little water. In Dresden, a water level of only 62 centimeters was measured on Wednesday. This value is significantly below the long-term average: Normally, the river carries much more water at this time of year. Freight shipping is temporarily suspended here.
