THE WOMAN ON THE COUCH - Sigmund Freud viewed a little differently

Play based on an idea by Norbert Mang May 27 / 28 & 29, 2021 - Forum I 19:30h - approx. 21:30h (incl. intermission) The founder of psychoanalysis and undoubtedly one of the most important thinkers of the 20th century was Sigmund Freud, however, the focus of this production is the woman on the couch. Sigmund Freud was rarely still a friend of his time, he also felt the constant wind in Vienna as a headwind. The allies were competent and the enemies influential, nevertheless he built his own practice to gain deep insights into the human soul. He nevertheless afforded himself a maid, who was similarly fresh and inexperienced in her work and therefore from time to time sensitively disturbed Freud's still fragile conduct of sessions. The first patients came and were predominantly female patients, from whom the first regulars quickly emerged. Experience a Sigmund Freud in his early phase, in which he was not yet "The Freud" for a long time. Experience a woman in an era that fortunately belongs to the past.
