The biopic "The Danish Girl" tells the story of the artist Einar Wegener, who 90 years ago, with the support of his wife, had himself reoperated to become a woman. ZDF will show the touching love story starring Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander for the first time on free TV on Friday, April 2.
