With a sharpened design, the modernized CLS will be coming to European dealers in August 2021. In particular, the front end with new radiator grilles and bumpers expresses the dynamism of the four-door coupé even more strongly. At the same time, the interior has been upgraded with additional leather and trim combinations and a new generation of steering wheel. A latest-generation diesel with integrated starter-generator extends the model range. A strictly limited special model of the Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+ forms the sporty, exclusive spearhead. Thanks to a comprehensive update last summer with updates to the driving assistance systems, the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) multimedia system and ENERGIZING comfort, the CLS was already technologically up to date.

The heart of the supercar is the BRABUS ROCKET 900 V8 twin-turbo increased-displacement engine. The powerplant with a displacement bumped to 4.5 liters develops an output of 662 kW / 900 hp (888 bhp) and produces a peak torque of 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft), which is limited to 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) in the vehicle. The New (500)RED is the hero of the evening, created in collaboration between FIAT and (RED) with a shared message to care for the environment, for the planet and for its people. From the belief that we can all play our part in the fight against pandemics and that each of us can therefore lead the change comes an unusual decision in the automotive landscape, to have the driver’s seat one color – red – with the other three passenger seats in black. A provocation, a message, an invitation: be 'ready’ to sit in the driving seat of change. Red will not be the only color in the (RED) special series; the palette of body colors actually includes other specific shades for each model.

The increasingly long list of awards for the all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E has been expanded by Euro NCAP to include the best possible 5-star double rating for its occupant protection and environmental compatibility. The independent crash test organization Euro NCAP has been assessing the safety of vehicles since 1997. Under the Green NCAP seal, the organization now also awards up to five stars for low emissions and high energy efficiency. In the strict crash tests, the new Ford Mustang Mach-E achieved an excellent result of 92 percent for the protection of adults and 86 percent for the protection of children. The standard driver assistance systems, among other things, contributed to the excellent safety rating.
