Even those who want to transport larger things will find the ID.4 the ideal companion. The 543-liter trunk can be expanded to 1,575 liters by folding down the rear seat backrests. The ID.4 1ST Max has the electrically operated "Easy Open & Close" tailgate on board, which opens by foot movement. There is also a luggage net, a net partition and a variable loading floor. And if that's not enough: A trailer hitch can be ordered as an option. This allows the electric SUV to tow trailers weighing up to 1,000 kilograms (braked, at 12 percent gradient) - enough for a visit to the hardware store with a standard box trailer.
