With the luxury saloon EQS and the sporty executive saloon EQE, Mercedes-Benz has entered a new, all-electric era in the upper market segments as well. The EQS SUV, the third model series with this architecture developed for electric vehicles, will soon follow. The SUV offers plenty of space, comfort and connectivity for up to seven passengers in its avant-garde, luxurious interior. Thanks to powerful electric motors, responsive 4MATIC all-wheel drive and an intelligent OFFROAD driving mode, the EQS SUV is also capable of tackling light terrain with ease. The new EQS SUV shares the long wheelbase (3210 millimetres) with the EQS Saloon, but is over 20 centimetres higher. The dimensions in detail: 5125/1959/1718 millimetres (length/width/height). The interior dimensions benefit from these generous SUV dimensions and from the advantages of the purpose design tailored to the electric platform. The second row of seats can be electrically adjusted as standard. Up to four golf bags fit in the boot. A third row of seats with two additional individual seats and extensive comfort features for all passengers is available as an option.
The new Citroën ë-Berlingo Van Preview
Citroën presents: ë-Berlingo Van, the electric, connected version of its light utility vehicle, which will be available in dealerships in the second half of 2021. ë-Berlingo Van satisfies professionals' day-to-day requirements, offering great freedom of action, in increasingly regulated urban environments, but also in semi-urban or rural environments, due to its range of up to 275 km* (WLTP cycle). ë-Berlingo Van comes with all the benefits of electric driving, and it makes no compromises with Berlingo's legendary qualities, and is still available in four bodywork configurations, with a load volume of up to 4.4 m3, loading capacity of up to 800 kg and all the modularity of the Extenso® cabin. ë-Berlingo Van is connected to the MyCitroën application, meaning that battery charging can be controlled remotely, and to the Free2Move application, giving access to more than 220,000 charging stations in Europe. It also offers options for new technologies, such as a head-up display, a first in this market category, and a unit with a new 10" high-definition digital pad.
The new ŠKODA ENYAQ COUPÉ iV makes a statement with its dynamic looks and sporty, elegant lines. It complements the successfully launched ŠKODA ENYAQ iV, adding an even more emotive variant to the range. The ENYAQ COUPÉ RS iV also marks the debut of the brand’s first all-electric member of the sporty RS family. While the roofline gently slopes towards the rear from the B-pillar, the new coupé offers plenty of space in the rear and a boot capacity of 570 l. Just like in the ENYAQ iV, the classic trim levels for the interior have been replaced with the Design Selections. There is a choice of two battery sizes, rear- or all-wheel drive, and four power variants with outputs ranging from 132 kW to 220 kW (RS variant). The outstanding drag coefficient (cd) of 0.234 is even better than that of the ENYAQ iV and, depending on the specification, enables a range of more than 540 km in the WLTP cycle.
With its clearly structured surfaces, dynamic lines and large air intakes, the front apron adds even greater emphasis to the sporty appearance of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan and BMW 3 Series Touring. The redesigned headlights and kidney grille also give the car strong visual presence. The standard full-LED headlights are now much slimmer, with clear contours and daytime driving lights arranged in an inverted L shape to create a harmonious and modern look. Adaptive LED Headlights are available as an option, and are identifiable by the blue accents inside their covers. Blue light effects below the headlight units also give the front end a striking and high-class appearance in the hours of darkness. The Adaptive LED Headlights’ range of functions includes the cornering light and non-dazzling matrix high beam as well as dynamic headlight range control and variable light distribution. The lightly modified contours and new double bars give the BMW kidney grille an even more powerful look. Air intakes in Black high-gloss positioned below the kidney grille cool the braking system and add a sophisticated touch.
