The new BMW 530e Sedan Highlights
In addition to a 390 kW / 530 PS V8 engine in the top model BMW M550i xDrive Sedan, the new BMW 5 Series has three petrol and three diesel engines with a power range between 135 kW / 184 PS and 250 kW / 340 PS to choose from. The efficiency of gasoline engines is optimized by direct gasoline injection operating at increased pressure. The two-stage turbocharging now used in all diesel engines increases the spontaneous power delivery. All engines are combined with an 8-speed Steptronic transmission as standard. The intelligent all-wheel drive BMW xDrive is available as standard or as an option for all model variants with the exception of the entry-level petrol engine
