As with its predecessor, Jaguar once again opted for a high-quality fabric hood for the F-TYPE. Compared to a folding steel roof, it offers weight and space advantages and helps to keep the center of gravity low. The Taycan Artcar is actually the second round of collaboration between New York-based artist Richard Phillips and the German sports car maker. In 2019, Phillips worked with Porsche factory driver Jörg Bergmeister to design a Porsche art car, which then made history at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
